I have Apple TV and the F1 app. I have various home theater systems in my house all with 4KUHD capability. I've been watching just on ESPN on YouTubeTv.

Last time I had F1TV a few years ago it was not worth it. Has it changed and watching on the app better and stable? I know 4KUHD will be a better picture than ESPN on YouTubeTV.

Yes. The one caveat to the HDR feed is you lose the ability to the multi-view thing where you can have more than one of their feeds on the screen at once. I never really used that anyway.

I think the picture is worth the extra $ and can see a difference between on the SDR and HDR feed on my 83" OLED.

Oh, and running it on an Apple TV.

That's the problem I ran into 3 yrs ago. Buffering, lock ups not working correctly. I have the fastest speed on fiber optic into my house donuts not me it was F1TV and the customer service for F1TV was nonexistent.
I really want to 4k ultra rez picture though ....

My buddy has 1gb connection up and down at his house and lowest possible latency (the place where all the cables come in is less than a km from his house lol), and still has issues. Stay with the 1080p for now I'd say. It'll take some time for F1TV to fix their issues with 4K

I'm just south of you in Sarasota, 500gig fiber connection, Apple TV and getting the F1TV 4K HDR feed with 0 buffering or lock ups.

So, my wife bought the F1TV 4K UHD package in time for the Saudi race. The picture is so much better on F1TV 4KUHD than on ESPN. Zero issues with picture and sound and everything looked and sounded awesome. I do miss listening to Martin Brundle though on ESPN.

Just pick that feed for your audio. I think it's a swipe on the Apple remote to open that menu up. If/when you get tired to listening to Sky, you can swipe, and switch back to F1TV audio.

And, if you haven't done it already, you need to disable the multi-view function in the settings to get the highest quality video feed.
