I have no interest in this thread but every time I look at a picture of an F355 with 20" wheels I think of this. No offense intended. They just don't look right to me.

More coming...20" is the perfect choice as the originals wheels are way too dated.

Too dated? It’s a 30 year old car. Lol. The whole thing is dated! Anyway, do what ya like yadda yadda.

I like wheels that make my car look and feel quicker. I can’t put on something that looks like it’s slowing me down. I like my cars quick and zippy.

Hard to beat those numbers in an 18x10 in a modern 1pc forged aluminum.

Many forged wheels in 18X10 weight less than 20 lbs today.

Rear is fine, front is a tad low IMHO, especially if 9in+ wide wheel.

Thanks! Much less material in the challenge wheels, it would appear, so I’m not surprised.

Getting a *strong* 1pc forged wheel in this weight will be difficult, but impossible. You can make a wheel weigh nothing if you like, but will it hold up when you hit a pot hole?

I think you typo-ed/lost a 'not'. Agree there are forged wheels in the upper teen lb range in 18s. I have a set of TE37 for an NSX that are around 17-18lb for the larger rear. Now I just need to get an NSX to mount them on....

Yes. Typo. The difference there is the te37s are molded in discreet sizes/offsets and optimized for weight. A wheel that suits the stance boyz above will need to be cut from a generic blank and will weigh more as a result.

Been thinking how i shall get a deeper lip on the rear wheels, ET 71 is measured straight from the edge down, according the rendering i received from Roti the lip is not deep enough as i want it to be.

How much will camber affect ET? if I change the camber on the rear to adjust for a lower ET to maybe 60 which will for sure get a deeper lip right? but can i camber enough to tuck the lip in line with the edge of the fender?

Look at photos of Tatsuyas customized BBSs.....a perfect setup I would say.

Thread is for 355. But I'll go ahead and post this here. One of the cleanest 19 inch setups I've seen.
18" BBS LM face, stepped up to 19" barrels.

I like that. Wheel doesn't look to big but still opens you up to tires available in 19"
