I have an AF model and was concerned about this issue. In my 4 months of ownership it has not been an issue at all. I did have skid plates put on so I didn't destroy the bottom of the carbon fiber splitters but the car rarely has a problem.

There are 7 sub $450k SF90s on the market. Price is definitely going down. The question is, who will be the first to put one on sale for $399k on the open market.

It's hard to look at it just from gross listing prices. Some of those are very high miles, none are CPO or are at official dealers, and most are 2021's.

Good spec low mileage cars with a decent amount of warranty left are still in high $400s to low $500s.

you are 100% right, you can't tell the price from the listing because likely the actual sales prices are 10-20% lower than asking.

I would be surprised if people are buying the lower priced SF90s for 20% off asking price. Even 10% seems a bit much. Does anyone know of someone who bought one below $400k?

most dealers ask 10-30% higher than they will take. If you are buying used Ferraris at close to asking you are paying way too much.

I've made offers to multiple dealers in the 10% off range and have been rejected each time. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned that Ferrari is offering incentives to dealers to keep the price of SF90s high? I could be misremembering.

The spider prices have been trending down the past couple weeks, looks like under $600k will be the new norm soon for most specs.

I always work it backwards, ask them what they can do on the car. Every time it was below a price I was willing to pay, sometimes shocking. I don't know, maybe making 10-20% offers casually just comes across as tire kicking. I listed a GT3 on Autotrader and I ignored all the casual "offers" as tire kickers even if price was only 20% below my ask. Every car I've bought and every legit good buyer spent time with each other and the car before even talking the price.

Asking them first is an excellent first move.

I know someone. Almost 200k below MSRP. Few hundred miles, 2024. Spider. TM as well. Impeccable specs.

Possible. Just to pop up the market for the upcoming replacement

There are many that are already listed at $100k-$200k below MSRP, the question is if you could still get another 10%-20% off the current asking price.

I guess people would rather buy the replacement for more money …People have no issues with SF90xx paying crazy money, when in reality it’s not that much better than a SF90AF:) think at it as GT3 vs GT3RS

I disagree, it is a bigger jump than that rarity and presence, more like a 911 vs. GT2 RS. The XX has evoked something unique with people loving it although not as much the base SF90. I think Ferrari took the aggressive looks to Lamborghini levels, unlike even what the 812 C/Pista etc have recently done.

Not surprised the two are close /the base SF wins when not on a circuit.

Saw a video yesterday of someone who purchased an SF90 for $390k. It had literally just been taken in on trade for $380k and they offered the dealer $390 for the quick flip.

A little bit off topic, but how are you guys negotiating your trade-ins? Kind of mind-blowing that some of these dealers will get offended at an offer of 10% below asking price but then offer you 20% below market for your trade. I'd like to get the sales tax credit, but not by trading a $300k car for $240k.

I'm considering trading my 765LT with a fairly new SF90. I just requested an appraisal of my car. My 765LT is a coupe with 10800 miles and $441k msrp.
I will see what the dealer is offering. If they offered stupid 20% below market, I will pass.

765LT is decisively the better car. The SF90 will be surpassed by the replacement (more boost, bigger electric motor), but the 765LT will live on forever. I also think your money will be better preserved in the 765LT. Just my unsolicited opinion, and I say all that as a huge fan of the SF90.
