Honestly I don’t think they ever considered anybody except Hamilton. Elkann and Vasseur wanted him or nobody.
Many of them didn't know that on the same day Hamilton's signing was announced, Ferrari announced stellar financial results. Some still don't seem to know.
See post #12 in the 'Am I wrong to have hopes for Lewis..." thread. The legend will never die...even if it's not true.
I agree. Ferrari are so afraid of taking a risk. They gook Vettel once he was facing pressure at Red Bull, Alonso when he was done at Renault, etc. Only with Leclerc are they really nurturing someone. They tend to go for the big driver once the great years are at its peak, but then don't deliver the package needed..... Prost is an example of this. They were going after Senna post McLaren years... They got Schumacher right but also the organization was much better and much more diverse.... they almost lost on that one too. Fundamentally, since Enzo there has only been one other dictator at Ferrari.. and that was LDM... since that its been committee rule, and that does not make a winning team. Looking back since Lauda died, Mercedes has slid backward, and I think its the barrier he presented between the team and MB corporate. YOU must have that barrier, and Elkan is not the guy, Vigne is not nor is Vasseur
I read that Neat Burger (LH vegan fast food chain) is going bankrupt in the UK - so the power of the LH brand is not bullet proof.
LOL. From their website: fresh | natural | wholesome Uh...the patty comes out of a laboratory. The exact opposite of fresh, natural, wholesome. Looks like it lost money every year it was open.
"Should I let him(Sainz) go past too"? Condescension and sarcasm, that will get the team behind you. Don't let the door hit you on your way out.
This is PG. Max called his crew all idiots and curse them out. Both Leclerc and Sir Lewis Hamilton seem to be too polite over the radio sometimes.
Funny he's not on here: https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20250502-how-black-men-have-used-bold-fashion-as-resistance
