OK, Tom - here's a Bugatti I built for my Dad in 1974.
Not a Pocher but a smaller scale, maybe 1/12.

Bob, that Bugatti model you built is 1:16 scale. The kit mfg. was Entex.

 

Very nice coupe Napoleon... I saw the one at Schlumf in Molsheim years ago.

Very nice work! Gives me some incentive to move forward with my GTO build. I am stuck at Pack #4...where the first wheel is to be assembled. Wheel assembly is not going very well so I have put the model away for the time-being...

 

I was thinking about doing that version also. I think it's the Paris 1000 winner which is almost a perfect GTO.

 

very nice work. Did you paint out the Shields? I left mine with out the numbers, but still thinking on it.

 

Thanks. I didn't paint the shields.
I used the Agora decals, except the front Nart (too big) and the license plate (too shiny). I replaced them by Alo decals as well as the black headlight surrounds, forgotten by Agora. The license plate is fixed by Tamiya masking tape.

Hi Etienne. Your GTO looks great. Did you special order the NART emblems? I just checked on the Alo website and I can’t
Find anything for that car except 1/18 or smaller. I’ve just received the Tomasso Ieule GTO transkit with extra engine parts and photo etch which looks very nice.
I’ve no idea when I’m going to have time to build it though!

I remember ordering these decals from Alo over a year ago when I started the build, because I didn't really like the Agora images with the decals on the car. Alo's decals aren't great quality, but for the NARTs on the front and the license plate, it's ok. However, I varnished the NART emblems.
I saw Tomasso's transkit: lots of nice parts, but which will obviously be invisible at the end of the assembly. I have also seen quite critical comments on another transkit (for a Lambo): unclear instructions, assembly difficulties with the base model...
I found some good quality accessories at a reasonable price at EG Fim (Italy) And also for the P4, which I've started assembling !

The Tomasso wheels will be interesting, The instructions look ok so fingers crossed. The Agora ones seem to be a bit if a trial anyway.

actually I meant the shields that came on the car... how did you get rid of the Scudetto?

 

I checked my book on the GTO and you can see different versions of headlights with and with out the aluminum surround and interior. some are painted and some not. my picture of Jessie Pourrett;s car shows the inside painted body color... with chrome surrounds. that is what makes if fun to pick a model and go with that.

 

Agora presents the car with red interior headlights. This is a mistake on this car.

I think they used Sn 3987 as the reference car for the model. and you are right the decals supplied are not correct. I have not put the decals on, and If I do, I think I'm just going to put a blank roundel with no numbers. I do have a Prova Mo 34 plate for the car.

For the current assembly of the 330P4 (#0846, Daytona), I'm trying to precisely identify the different Dymo labels visible on the dashboard. Of course, I'm not using the images of JG's car. And I'm assuming all P4's had the same markings !

Question for anyone working on the DeAgostini P4
My Package 5 had stages 15-20 I just received Package 6 it had stages 20-24. So I ended up with 2 Stage 20 packets. Did anyone els have this happen?

 

Not quite the same as your issue...when I received package #4, it was supposed to include stage 13...instead, it included stage17 (#17 was not scheduled for release until package #5). I wrote to DeAgostini and indicated #13 was missing...so instead of sending #13, they sent another stage #17. I wrote back again and indicated they sent the wrong stage and I need #13 and they said they would look into it and get back to me within 2 weeks...that was 5 weeks ago, no word. I gave up and ordered stage 13 from an eBay dealer in Italy.

Probably my last subscription, besides this issue, I had missing parts for the Agora GTO, which Agora reconciled quickly. Also, not thrilled about the recent price increase in the middle of a subscription, due to the tariff situation, but I guess that can't be helped.
