No 4 point harness for US. Sf90xx weight saving seats are great.

I wonder why they made the 296 Speciale coupe look killer and the Aperta look....well, uninspired. Purely from a spec standpoint. Still can't get into those wheels. Maybe I'll finally spec the CF ones.

Get silver base wheel and then put some real race type wheels: BBS LM or similar.

I’ve never been an aftermarket wheel fan, but when I had the V8 M3 I got BBS FI wheels, and they were awesome. Purposeful and revolutionary at the time.

I am really, really excited for this car. After 16 years, 9 cars and 100 000 miles I can say that the 296 is my favorite Ferrari so far. I just took delivery of my GTS last night and the car is more than I had hoped. I lost money on the 296 GTB but it was worth it. I will lose money on my 296 GTS and it will be worth it. I was very skeptical of the hybrid intially but now prefer it. I was actually disappointed that the 12C was not hybrid as there is so much potential to improve the low RPM torque. Ferrari is really hitting it out of the park these days. They are making tons of profit at the cost of our resale but I am happy they are reinvesting in their products and making great cars.

    Restraint on break-in is tough!

Sound-wise I can't stop driving the 4RS and 296 even over 991.2 3RS that I went back to from 992 GT3. Thinking maybe I should see if someone can do a carbon airbox for the 991.2 3RS like they do for 718 GT4.

296 isn't as harmonic but hopefully Speciale will be (and I can get one...)

I have a 4 RS too, the sounds in the cockpit are infectious. It’s crazy that the engine sits right there in the cabin with you exposed. How did they do that without having a problem from heat coming from the engine? German engineering.

I also have a Alfa 4c spyder with stock aprakovic exhaust option. That was also very infectious until it gets on the freeway. 296 GTS reminds me of my alfa. It does sound way better than sf90. Hopefully the 296 speciale exhaust is way better. I would be tempted. lol

What's really interesting is that I don't like the off throttle sound of the 718 GT4 but I like the off throttle sound of the 4RS even better than the on throttle sound.

I have been close to getting a Scud or 620R to augment the 296 as something with better steering feel and a bit wilder if less composed. But the 4RS is actually a really practical completely impractical car (the first part is my opinion the second part is my wife's opinion).

Be advised, that Blu Nart render is way off, at least to my eye. I have Blu Nart Pista and, unlike that render, I do not catch a green hue in any lighting conditions. Blu Nart is a fantastic color, one of the very best blues, and it’s satisfyingly rare and unique. Here’s four different light conditions. If you haven’t seen it in person, you should. It’s a complex color, and the camera does not really capture the magic. Also, everyone sees color differently.

Haptic hybrid GPF is bs - LaF 918 P1 set the tone over a decade ago.
Special paints stripes carbon cost more than hybrid battery replacement 10 years - who's kidding who :) Ferrari is building great cars - it's mind blowing where these factories have gone on road cars.
