Red bull really dropped the ball there, that was shocking. I guess heavy fine as well.

Norris wins second Miami race in a row with safety car pure luck

He really lucked out in the timing for this one. Good call by the team.

MaxBull pit work is back-marker team standard again.
    LH podium - not expected
Mclarens fastest and good starts again.
Kimi was educated on trying duel Oscar while being out of position. Whined as most do. You lost the corner so grow up Kimi.

It's well known that first lap incidents are viewed with more leniency than later in the race. That's life.

F1 is a joke when it comes to the wet. I understand the visibility is a challenge, but we seen far far worse conditions in the past and drivers didn't cry about it. Literally damp conditions is the best they can do these days. F1 desperately needs to change their wet tire options, as full wets are completely useless as they do not race in proper wet conditions.

Piastri forcing another driver off the track to take the lead. Apparently thats the rule for 2025. They are no longer required to leave room on the outside. Another mega fail for Formula 1 as we can expect this move time and time again from here on out. Of course the media will carefully select when it's a problem and when it's okay depending on which driver makes the move.

Piastri also cut the track and gained an advantage ahead of Norris. Naturally McLaren were not going to complain, but it still happened.

Would have been very exciting to see Max go on slicks before the McLarens, but Red Bull wrecked his race by a blatant unsafe release. Pretty scary when you consider a team of mechanics were on track just off to the side of the collision. Head's up driving by Antonelli to avoid spinning. Too bad his race got destroyed in the process.

Ferrari gambled and it paid off. Well done to them and Hamilton. Great result.

Lawson has used up any excuse and any amount of forgiveness. He's terrible this season and his time in F1 should be limited if he can't get it together quick.

Hopefully Alonso can get his car repaired for quali.

    Leclerc - well damn.

F1 killed what's left of racing with these rules. and next year they'll kill what's left of the cars.

Indycar? Is that you calling me 2026? Yes it is.

As for RB unsafe release. Max said it all. That was SHOCKINGLY bad. How did they not see that coming? Deserve the book being thrown at them.

I just watched and listened to in-car on F1TV.
Lewis made the call to pit, not "the team".

    Correct.

But of course Charles had bad luck, Lewis had good luck ;)

Kimi got beat to the 1st turn pure and simple. In retrospect he should be kicking himself for not slotting in behind Oscar.
I'm suprised Sainz didn't get some kind of investigation for driving his crippled Williams 1/2 way around the track, with clearly no hope to get new tires and continuing the race after he clipped the wall.
Crazy that Yuki finished ahead of Max.
Lando sure does have luck on his side in Miami with safety cars.

This is the 1st time Max has finished a race in any format outside of the points since the 2016 BelgianGP. Max was 18yo back then.

Yes, it was the unsafe release and the race finished under SC conditions.......sort of.
