    VS ran 119 on track vs XX at 117.3 - 0 -60 is1/2 or more behind
    Tariffs may play a role - something I wish there was more clarity.
    Per Ferrari - close to the hp limit of 2wd hp - which means a bit more to give on 2wd 296 - version.

    Yes some aren't driven - Ferrari used to void warranty if cars. were not driven 2500 miles per year.
    They shouldn't give allocations to non drivers - but that's the world dealers praising low mileage cars in the US to max profits - trickles down to owners.

    The biggest problem with hybrid - constant voltage. It's like breaking in an engine at 5 mph.
    Exotics are better when driven - regardless of how good they leave the factory.

    The cars are all fast enough, whether it's an 812 Competizione or an SP3 or a Dodici cilindri or a 296 Speciale, in the end it's only a few tenths of a second difference from 0-200 that you hardly notice anyway. But what you do notice are emotions, and I have to say there's nothing better than an NA V12 Ferrari.

    my dealer mentioned 18 month ROFR which seemed standard but also mentioned something about lien for 18 months which sounded unusual…. Anyone else have this?

    Pistas def didn’t come with any carbon options. Mine has 100k+ in carbon.

    when does the msrp get released?

    The day cars are fast enough is the day they stop selling - makes no sense for someone to buy the next version if slower. Which is why they sent V12 team home.
    F1 engineering VS XX focus - putting in tech to get the most out for an unskilled driver. Mcalren put understeer in Senna - Ferrari is doing it their way - 2wd insane hp and higher than stated.
    Ferrari has a secret sauce that is better than any factory when it comes to their final track version. . Hybrid offers a lot to the driving experience - love V12's but stripes on a GT front engine V12 is weird imo.

    Largely agree. Nevertheless, the cars lose emotion even if they got faster and faster. Everything up to 812 Competizione/ SP3 was emotional and unmistakably Ferrari DNA. A 296 is a very fast and agile car but the sound is only moderately good, no better or worse than the McLaren. Unfortunately, it is no longer as unique as the Competizione or TDF or 458. Lamborghini was always just loud, Ferrari was also loud but also had a real symphony and this is now gone.

    Ferrari also simply builds too many cars, according to dealer information at least as many cars of the 296 Speciale are built as of the Pista. That sounds like there will be even more.

    But a 296 GTB is a much better and even more emotional car than an F8. An F8 was a big disappointment, which means I don't care about the hybrid. What I would like is a 458 Speciale with 200 hp hybrid boost.

    We are definitely in very interesting times where regulation is taking away an important element (the at least for me) of what creates an emotional experience...the sound.

    I don’t agree. Having owned Ferraris since 1989 the 296 GTB AF is the best Ferrari ROAD CAR I have ever owned. IMO- It provides the best combination of excitement and performance- period. The engine sounds very good too.

    Ok but why do you think the VS is not a Speciale with 200hp hybrid boost?
    No offense but that's exactly what it is - voila - named Speciale.

    That's their opinion and that's fine. But you can't say that a 296 sounds unmistakable. The car sounds just like a McLaren and looks from behind like a 600 LT. No longer a real Ferrari.
