The Dino spider is s/n 13956, but the TR replica's registration comes up empty for a s/n. Probably just as fake.

I know what the Dino is as it's mine!
Just curious on the 250 and the John Surtees story as it seemed off to me. Nothing on the Internet. As you said I suspect it's fake with a made up story. Very good fake, usually they look wrong and can spot them (also a fake Countach, 250 SWB, LWB ar the show and they looked wrong)

To clarify, I wasn't implying that your 308 is fake, just the registration of the TR replica. Your spider conversion looks good by the way, should have been a factory option back then.

    Hello Dan

It is based on 330 GT 2+2 #5577.

I think one of five is true.

Pininfarnia records say first owner was Surtees. If that was John Surtees, I can not prove that.

I have done a lot of miles in one of the sister cars and they are very nicely made. And quick.

Yes. That was the one based on 330 GT #5333. It was built for Innes Ireland whose tartan featured on the seats.

    This is quite interesting.

Who was it that built these cars? Were they coachbuilt from the start using just the 330 GT chassis, or were they production 330 GT's that were later converted?
