Those getting a car - what are your spec thoughts? Colors?

This spec is awesome, really highlights to me the tragedy if doing body color paint on the black bits is not allowable by Maranello

I opened a drawer at the dealer, while looking at colors, and they had a full metal sample of verde GB23 and WOW! What a color. I'm sold.

 

Darkest to least, Maranello, Fuoco, Magma. I've had all 3. Most beautiful and intriguing, Maranello. easiest to light up, Magma. Best suited for an aggressive car, Fuoco.

This was my original color spec but with tariffs and the cost of the paint I'm second guessing spending so much on paint...

 

Ferrari announced couple days ago that it will absorb the tariff cost on certain models but not on the 12C, so your point is well taken. We're looking at 10% on that model, but let's see how long the chess game lasts. If protracted, it wouldn't be so bad if they allow the classic metallic paints as standard for starters.

Yes this is on the dealer configuration. I did see it with the standard alloys. I’m not sure if it was the render but they appeared really “bright” and overwhelmed the car IMO.

 

I do agree that the standard wheels are quite glossy and massive in an impressive way. Didn't think looking at the pics or configurator that I would have liked them until you see it in person. Haven't seen the forged wheels in person so difficult to judge, but they look attractive regardless of the comments comparing the design to another manufacturer's wheels.

 

Stage 85 now. Just waiting to be transported!

I’m now considering just speccing the car in the launch configuration. Really torn. I’m usually a red car guy but I spaced my 812 GTS in Grigio GTS/ciccolato like the launch and loved it. This car looks so good in verde toscana. Can anyone confirm the interior colour of the 12c spider at launch? Was it is terra antica? Thanks!

 

I believe the Verde Toscana 12C that I saw at our dealership was with terra antica leather and that combo looks rich. I'll be going there on Tuesday and will verify.

 

I hear you. Did my gta in Grigio gts and doing the 12 in VT but I did deviate on interiors and did couio. Loved thenGTS and excited for the the verde toscano. Everyone and I mean everyone that I have shown my renderings too love it.

 

The launch spec is indeed terra antica.
