I'll open up my question: I'm looking for any and all pictures of Ferrari 268SP #0806 in the 1962 1000km of Nurburgring, as driven by Pedro Rodriguez. So any photos where the car carries the number 93. There aren't too many photos as he only lasted for 7 laps in the rain... I only have a few photos which I found on the public internet. I will not repost them here, as I don't know the original photographer/copyright holder.

    166 Sport Allemano #003S

I like the style of this car looks a Mercedes benz.

The resemblence with Mercedes is partially in the fender eyebrows, but this Ferrari predates the 300SL by 4 years. Also the Mercedeslike front with low grille predates any Mercedes looking like that, which again was the 300SL.

Conclusion: Mercedes looked at Ferrari to see what would do well in the Mille Miglia.

I totally agree. I insist with Mercedes because we know better the 300 SL than 166 Sport Allemano.

And Alan Stacey just in photo to the left (the only F1 driver who could hold one of his socks up with thumb-tacks).
