I'm offering here, to try and find the owner of Maserati Mistral #892 and reunite it with the car. I believe the car was all aluminum bodied, 4.0L Mistral, last know in the Mid West USA.

Complete 100% original Mistral FI 4.0L engine from Mistral AM109A1/892. Complete, has compression, was running when it was removed from the original car and then put on custom built engine display stand. I have a complete Weber intake manifold, fresh rebuilt correct DCEO 8's, rebuilt by Weber Carburetor Restorations, tested on factory Weber test equipment, and an original FISPA air box if needed, it's a beautiful set up.

    Ciao and best.

I fear that car is long gone.

Nothing in the database my friend has to show any of it's whereabouts, and the Classiche department has nothing on it either :/

    Hopefully it turns up!

Thank you for the information. It might be a long shot, but I was hoping to reunite the engine with the original chassis, if the car has been scrapped/destroyed, it will be a very good engine for another Maserati etc.

In the case the engine will be sold, have you an idea ref. price?

    If yes, how much?
