The final GT was delivered March 24th, 2023 so the maximum market supply was hit within the last two months as 24 month liens were released. Lots of cars that were originally sold in late 2022 and early 2023 selling now and then I figure they will start to dry up later this year.
Not sure what you mean by walk up? With akrapovic exhaust, it sounds nice. Nothing compared to a v8. But what really caught me other than the look is how it drives and how it's eager to grab corners after corners. Reminded me of a Carrera GT or the Enzo. It's almost too good for me,it gives way too much confidence for average drivers like me.
I know 3 guys that got the first allocation sold them immediately after their contract term was over and each one I asked if they would buy another, all 3 answered.... nope. Apparently an amazingly sterile car. I on the other hand would love to have one as it looks so cool. We will see where we are at when my project is done.
I’d love to know how much they drove them and in what circumstance to arrive at that conclusion. You could describe it as a lot of things but sterile isn’t one. It’s not a great road car but it’s worth having for the reason it’s not a great road car, which is that it truly was a race car that very quickly was rearranged for road use. The road car was very much behind because everything was being done in service of the race car. I find that…appealing. In track mode, slammed, on a smooth surface, there is really nothing like it for sale. I’ve never loved the transmission calibration, but the chassis is pure magic when pushed. It could use more front tire.
I don’t know, I didn’t press the issue with any of them and it was brief. The one gent we moved on to another topic at hand and I was left to surmise however, the responses were delivered straight up and had an air of not wanting to say anything bad about the car specifically. So I left it. Clarkson seemed to love it (which backs up what your saying because he was thrashing it) and the YouTube guy who took all three from all three eras in the canyon roads preferred the 05-06 version. I think a V8 would have built a better following.... still, the car looks very cool and has really good stats and, of course, won lemans. I’d love to have one.
Sorry, typo …meant “wake” up the exhaust. Good comparisons regarding handling…I’m rather enjoying the driving experience of my 05 FGT. It is nice and raw and quite easy to handle through the canyons. I’d say even easier to handle than the CGT. CGT handling is razor sharp but definitely a higher level of concentration, as the car is so stiff and direct.

when you put the 05/06 white next to 2017+ white it makes the 05/06 looks yellow. Interesting how much white can change.
