How many of you guys have been to the speedway? any time...not just for a race.
I think half a dozen 500’s, a few of the F1 races and a Brickyard. plus the museum a few times passing through it’s a pilgrimage
Soooooo.... I have never but in 2021 when I bought my C8 corvette out of Maryland, I planned on driving it cross country back to Vegas. I had a friend living in Indy and I wanted to see the Speedway. Unfortunately, it was Covid and I just couldn't take the chance. And I think they closed the Museum as well. I shipped the car. I have been to Wright Patterson as a kid and it was also on my list.
My first racing job was on 13th and Main. I could see it everyday. Did a couple F1, a couple brickyards, carb day, played golf there once.

If I still lived in the Midwest I’d do the 500 every year. it’s easy to understand the families that have had tickets for generations
Everything in Indianapolis is racing themed. 99.999999% of the bars have some racecar or parts of racecars. ALL OF THEM.
