Help me find how to turn off Closed Captioning!

    So along with all the other benefits of "smart" TV's and streaming, how do you find "which" closed captioning is on?

    It isn't the TV cc from TV remote.

    It isn't the "smart tv" software as showing off.

    The "smart tv" did suck so bad I got Apple TV for better WiFi connection, but the Apple Remote doesn't have a cc option.

    Are you using Apple TV for content?

    If you are, while watching touch the >|| button you will see the show info pop up, use the center disk to key up, then right to shut off the cc

    that fixed it, thanks! we don't use the Apple Remote, so I had to find and charge it.
