I am in the process of converting a 2002 575M F1 to gated six speed. The last piece of the puzzle is the engine control units. Finding manual ECUs seems to impossible. Is there anyone that can reflash the F1 ECUs with the proper manual software? Thanks!!

What kit are you using and did they not offer a software solution?

It’s neat that you are doing a conversion and would love to hear more about it.

^This. That’s what I did, and they were able to do a light tune (I have stock headers and exhaust) as well. Very cool.

Its much more than a peak power thing. We change entirely the car dynamics to make the car more playful and enjoyable to drive, the torque profiles are entirely different, engine throttle responses much further sharpened, deactivate the throttle cut out on brake press for heel and toeing on manual cars, adjust exhaust valve opening times in different driving modes, adjust alarm rearm timings to make the system less intrusive and much much more.

Was not concerned one iota with extra horsepower, the whole attitude of the car changed for the better, but in a way that preserves it’s GT identity, IMO.
