    When Lawson was appointed the seat we were told that Verstappen didn’t want the competition from yuki. When Lawson didn’t work out he couldn’t be sacked soon enough. Now you lot want him back.

    Is there nobody Red Bull could put in the second seat who has the same oversteer preferences as Max? To have one car at/near the front of the grid and another at/near the back most qualifyings is crazy.

    Very hard for someone to drive Max's car......they could literally go thru the whole lot, I doubt if anyone can drive it on the limit as Max.

    It's something in the car design...center of mass, center of pressure...something that suits Max's driving style that they can't change to help the other driver. It's beyond setup/alignment changes.

    It's not even about on the limit though, we're not talking a tenth or two over a whole lap, it's like a tenth or two per sector. There must be someone who could get it somewhat closer to the limit than they've had over the last few seasons.

    One result of all this is that Perez is looking somewhat vindicated.
