Probably because it shows George turning in like Max's car wasn't even there and is the complete opposite of trying to avoid any incoming contact.

I still put the blame completely on Max as he made zero attempt to hit the apex. Penalty still deserved.

It's crazy that people think the FIA and Stewards are in Verstappen's corner. There are endless examples of him getting worse treatment in similar incidents.

Think the FIA will manipulate the championship to help Red Bull and Verstappen stay close in the championship? Otherwise McLaren are going to make this season as boring as 2023.

George was 1.5 car widths off the apex, he left more than enough room.

June 30th 2025, 2 points fall of Max in his total 11 penalty points.

So he's got to keep it clean from here on out.

I agree, penalty is deserved. Calls for race and season bans etc are idiotic.

This is similar to Baku when Vettel did it to Elton in 2017. I don’t think Vettel should have been penalized then and I do not think Maxine should have been punished in Spain. The reason is they both intentionally banged rubber to rubber. If they wanted to take the car out or injure someone they could. The wasn’t their intent and they wanted to grab the other drivers attention. That’s what they did.

That’s a question for next year. The problems at Ferrari are deeply rooted. If they can’t produce a winner next year, they won’t the year after. Other teams are better at car development. Mercedes, McLaren, even Aston (engineered by Newey). And don’t write off redbull either if max walks. Plenty of ways this could play out. Plenty.

Both Ferrari drivers had to use LiCo(lift and coast) to avoid minimal skid wear on the plates.

Kimi Antonelli's PU is not recoverable. Investigations into what caused the PU failure is still unknown.

So he looks to take a new PU in Montreal.
