    The beauty and the performance. They hit new heightened marks. Of course I think everyone would agree the 488 is much more beautiful, but the 296 is not just a little faster, it’s ALOT faster.

    There was one on the track at the Annual Ferrari Meet. I couldn't watch because I was on the track at the same time and class. And I think I heard it was a Father and Son sharing it. Now I wish I was a spectator for a session.

    They are getting wrecked left and right. The cars are much faster than the 488C and the drivers think they are in F1. There were at least 20 big wrecks in Miami last week.

    Plus it was so hot, some guys were not feeling great in the car. There were a couple wrecks were they didn't even brake.

    Yes over the weekend two drivers were airlifted to the hospital for precautionary Matters. Everyone is OK
    . One driver had some broken ribs

    I raced my 488 challenge a couple of weeks ago after not having much seat time recently. I had forgotten how physical it is to drive that car fast, it absolutely kicked my ass after almost an hour of racing. I haven’t driven the 296 challenge but if reports of it being materially faster are true, overweight, middle aged gentlemen running challenge are going to get beaten up by the car unless they really get in shape.

    296 challenge is an amazing car. It is definitely faster than 488 challenge, but also easier to drive than 488 challenge. It takes a lot of mental stamina to stay focused driving such a fast car, and since it’s such a fast car one minor mistake in the wrong place can have big consequences. Fortunately it’s also a very safe car! (Just not safe for your bank account)
