The pricing - could publish the XX coupe guessing it won't be much different - ask your dealer for XX coupe./ spider pricing.
Be ready for higher options on special editions. Opaco paint 46k etc good news - you should select most expensive 3-4 layer as all are same price same with stripes and numbers - select most expensive paints, all are same price. Colored carbon is they may not offer all carbon parts in colors.

I have heard from several dealer friends that Ferrari clarified today (maybe yesterday) that Speciales will indeed only be offered to those with 296s in their garage. This is US. No other information.

I had that on my 12 Cilindri as well, and now it is gone (just checked). I don't know, but I don't think the 296 Spec has gone into production quite yet. My dealer said once you see the vin, the chassis is stamped. That could be bad info that I'm going off of....

I believe Ferrari sells 20-25 296 cars per dealer annually. I am very confident that there are more 296 owners interested in a Speciale than allocations. I would venture to guess that there will be 18-20 Speciales per dealer.
Throw in VIPs and TOPs and you don't even have to publish any eligibility requirements. For non VIP customers, owning a 296 will be essential.

Don't forget Europe tends to get first deliveries so if folk are also speccing over here it seems not unreasonable that production could be beginning

Did a quick build at the dealer to get an idea. Colored carbon was on their configurator, wheels changed color too which I don't recall seeing before. Looking to have some fun with this spec.

They did! Hopefully that is not just on the configurator and they will do that in production.

50k on XX - I bought an extra set to tint for XX and went with no charge wheel.
New product and didn't want to wait any more months for them to ship the car.
Someone was selling new carbons for 296 - here.

No more carbons for me, once you scratch them even a tiny bit, they are ruined. Found nobody in Europe to repair them. So i bought a black pen from Amazon to paint over the scratch.

Can you clarify pricing - at launch it was suggested about EUR 400 000 yet you show in excess of EUR 100 000 extras and still only get to that figure - its almost as if the car alone price is using the standard car - is it that the car cost is still unknown ?

27k Euro for livery is insane…. And you’ve not even added numbers on the front. I’m sure that bumps it up to 33k+ just on livery if I was to take a guess. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t this much on the pista/458 speciale

This is correct. VIP’s do not need a 296 in the garage.

Thank you for this! Really helpful. To confirm, all of the items highlighted in green above are included in the base MSRP, even though there is a price associated with them? For example, the carbon fiber glossy bonnet is SEL/Green but at a price of $9,115. My build, including the SEL/Green item costs, is $616k USD, generally in line with my high-end expectations.

Lots of different VIP levels - trying to be good for 12Ci Comp, not having to hold 296 would be nice.
Why Ferrari does not offer more PR on VS - at least a lap time.
Dealer 2 spiders and I think 4 coupes.
