Hello everyone. I have recently purchased 06 f430 with a hamann motorsport tuning kit. Not sure if I like it, especially rear spoiler looks excessive. On the other hand its period correct and someone spent small fortune on that. I would like to know your opinion, should I convert it to stock, or keep the way it is?

My 2 cents, I wouldn’t touch it, it looks totally awesome

isn’t that the picture from their website?

Why would you have bought one with a Novitec kit if you didn’t like the kit?

Despite loving the 2000s tuner era with crazy body kits, I never really liked the Hamann body modifications. Their wheels are alright though. In the end, it is ultimately up to you what you want to do with it. It's your car. What other people think should be irrelevant.

It has an interesting history. I’d leave it. The mods are not to my taste but it obviously attracted you to the car.

Period correct 90’s and early 2000 kits are usually pretty cool. I like this one. I say keep it!

Never liked Hamann kits. This is no different. Just looks like add-ons and in the wrong place. The F430 does not need side steps.

It's your car. I would take some time to get to know it. You may like it more or you may like it less as the months go by. OK, now with that said, I like the front end treatment. The side skirts and rear wing seem too much for me. I think the lines of the car flow better without those.

Honestly, I don't have much positive to say. The standard car looks good though.

Hamann PG2’s are classic wheels, and period correct. I say keep it as is.

I have a Hamann 360 Spider manual that was fully done to Hamann both interior + exterior you name it. But I ended up totally restoration and make it to CS Spider, I got a great deal on the car as no-one would want to buy it as it was before + very very low milage. I never liked Hamann and they did nothing to the engine or electronic everything was optical and big spoilers and wheels etc. not my style very much Pimp My Ride look. So yeah the F430 looks so nice stock or in Scud form

I vote restore it to period-correct Hamann, but with a set of their wheels (as in your original pic) instead of the HREs that are on there now.

I don't know if it's the camera angle or different spoiler heights, but the rear spoiler being so low on the silver car looks much more integrated. When I look at the silver car, I could almost live with the spoiler.

On the white car, for whatever reason, the rear spoiler looks like a cheap Japanese car add-on -- I couldn't possible rip that spoiler off fast enough.

On the wheels, stock looks best to my eye, the silver cars aren't too bad (but I'd definitely switch to original over those), and the white car's look out of place -- especially with the red line around the outside of the wheel.

@ornas should pick what he likes -- but since he's asking, there is no question I would bring the white car back to stock.
