Collected this week after a full restoration. Blu Chario with Tan and black carpets. Full mechanical refresh as well. Very pleased

Roof spoiler removed during restoration, a far cleaner look ( in my opinion) It always looked a bit like an add on.

Congrats, a VERY nice 328. I think sell one of my GTB to try to find a similar Blu Chiaro GTS, but with the sterring wheel at the right place !
But I know that will be very hard to find one. To my estimate around 1% GTS produced were Blu Chiaro, how many still alive ...?

May be the way will be better to find a classic Rosso and repaint it like you.

I have some data about 328 but not for 308, some here could have estimate about original Blue or Blu Chiaro 308 ?

 

when i first got the car i did pose that question and got the standard answer "Ferrari does not the records on what colors were sold in the US Market" i did do a little research and estimate that around 10% in the US market "can be Blue Chiaro" and overall, with 20 to 30% of 1700 + from 1980 to 1982 sold are not RED lol

one reason i wanted this car, i like red but any other color does stand out

 

I will be surprise if 10% are Blu Chiaro and even Blue ( with all others Blu color coded ). At that time a Ferrari must be Rosso to most of people and buyers

a Alfa spyder and I where playing followed leader down the Taconic State Parkway in New York temps oil pressure all looked good engine singing that sweet note lived i

pull in and filled the oil and checked the gas lol
Then back home quick clean up and put the good girl to bed

It took a while for the ‘80’s “cocaine white” to grow on me, but it I think it shows the lines of the car really nicely. Pretty rare colour for a 308 QV I would think.

I really like the 308 in Bianco, it goes well with the black.
