Lost 91lbs today. Kevlar Sparcos saved me 61lb. Antigravity battery lost me 30lbs. Not bad. I’d like to get the car weighed to know the actual weight. Lost lots of weight with the brakes, wheels, suspension, muffler, now seats and battery.
Stock seats were 47.1lbs without mounts, Sparcos are 16.1lbs. Pretty much a direct bolt in, just needed to use a little bracket to extend the stock slider length, sparco bottom mount was the same width as the factory seats. Easy stuff

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Seat shells are Sparco Legends that are pretty much a F40 replica that I had AS motorsports in Denmark do in matching leather, very close leather match to original. Matching stiching. I couldn’t be happier with the material and workmanship. I’m a sucker for the yellowish Kevlar composite, and super light weight.
I need to figure out seat belts. I didn’t really want to do harnesses but I think I might do some Sabelts. anyway just wanted to share with you guys.

Sabelt makes a fine harness with aluminum adjusters that are smooth as silk unlike the omp harnesses I had previously...

These seats look not only great but also very hmm... special? Super nice work.

And by the way, your 348 is one of the few which I have seen to have the rear battery covers in place.

Gorgeous work. Looks amazing. I’m jealous. But mostly of the size of your ass. It would take me three years of eating nothing but broccoli to fit into those.

Haha! They are fairly narrow, seem to be the same size as all the recaro pole position I’ve had

Do those sit lower or higher in the car vs. stock?

Schroth makes a DOT approved 4-point harness that works well. It's easy to deal with on the street as it uses a regular clip-in latch, and has a "breakaway" sewn into one of the shoulder straps. The idea behind the breakaway is it allows the upper torso to twist slightly in a collision (just like it would with a 3-point belt) and this prevents the body from submarining under the lap belts.

Wow those look incredible. Well done! I've considered the Legend seats for a while now but have been hesitant. Seeing yours in matching leather really make me want to do it. How are they for getting in and out of the car with the ultra aggressive bolsters?

    Thank you Trevor
As you can imagine they are not the easiest to get in and out of. They are on the more extreme side of race buckets. Also I’m a size 32 waist. You can’t be much bigger than that in the waist or they will be super snug and to much for comfortable driving. Mine have custom foam shaped like the special Ferrari foam pads so I can’t give feedback on the Sparco foam.
But all that said they are insanely good when you are really pushing the car hard. They also look very very trick, very stiff shell and are super light, saved 60lbs.
    I love them
