Just picked up a nice 360 coupe (euro spec) with some nice tasteful mods.
Im wanting to get the TCU tuned, sounds like 360Trev's TCU tune is the best option?

How do I get in contact with him? I'm unable to send messages (likely due to my new account). I also don't see a website or email anywhere.

Im assuming my TCU needs to be shipped off, where is it shipped to? Once I get it back, is it plug and play? Or do I need someone with a tool to do a recalibration?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to fchat and congrats on the new car. Search the forums, if you are on the west coast, you will get a hold of a "Sam" that can help. I would recommend getting to know the car first, drive it, enjoy it find what changes you want and then talk to someone about updates you want to make :)

Welcome, assuming you're in the states, then @sammyf would be the contact for @360trev. The upgrade can be done remotely via hardware that will be shipped to you, or if you're close enough, drive to Sam's place and have it upgraded onsite.

I think you may be confusing ECU and TCU. TCU is the computer for the transmission on F1 cars and updated the programming on that will bring faster shifts and smoother take offs depending on which software you have put on and how well it is calibrated to your specific car. I don't believe Trev provides this, however someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The ECU will be the engine mapping. Trev's tune definitely wakes up the car and gives it a bit more power on the low end as well as responsiveness. I didn't think it would be as much of a difference as it is. Trev can also throw in some other goodies in there specific to your needs.

Most people remove them and send them to him. That is by far the easiest way although it can be done remotely with the proper equipment and know how.

Yes I know, it already has an Engine ECU power tune. I want to shorten the response time of the shifting. Shifting speed was the complaint I had about my F430. My 458 and 720S both shift amazing. But I know i won't get down to the 40ms getrag DCT shifting of my mclaren.

It thankfully already came with everything I wanted! It's a cheap daily car for me when im not feeling the 911. Otherwise I also have the 720S and 458 and an F430 being rebuilt right now. I just wanted something a bit more raw and engaging. Shift speed was what I had to complain about the F430 and I know with some tweaks the 360 can have similar shifting speed.

If you want your TCU flashed, you will need to have a tcu capable of it. What year is your car?

I don’t understand why these guys have to be so elusive? Just set up a website and be done with it.

Once you reach out to them, there is nothing elusive. Sam is great, very responsive, and you will be happy with the results.

Give Sam until about mid next week. He's out of pocket until then.

Sam is usually available on WhatsApp. Maybe we can get them to do a group buy again, as I want upgrade our 430. I'm somewhat holding out for the Scud-like trans swap they're working on. Not sure if to just do it all at once or tune then swap when it's ready?
