360 Challenge Stradale Mirror Project – OEM-Accurate Reproductions by CarbonSeats.com

Hi all,

As someone restoring a manual 360 Spider to full Challenge Stradale spec, I’ve spent years hunting down a proper set of original CS mirrors. As many of you know, they’re nearly impossible to find, and when they do show up, pricing is all over the place and condition varies wildly.

So… I decided to go another route.

We’re now in the final stage of reproducing the CS mirrors 1:1 to OEM. This has been a passion project, developed from original parts (3D scanned every small part of the mirrors), and we’ve spent months reverse-engineering every detail down to:

- Same mounting angle and geometry
- Original-style weave direction, gloss, and finish
- Motorized with internal mechanism and plug identical to OEM
- Full temperature sensor integration
- OEM weight
- Folding functionality, just like factory

First LHD production batch (10x sets) will be completed in approx. 2 weeks. 2x of these will be shipped to AV Engineering (UK) with my OEM CS mirrors for testing before general availability.

Production and availability

These mirrors are not mass-produced. They’re hand-laminated and assembled to factory spec. The first 10x LHD sets are almost done. RHD version will follow if there’s demand.

Also, for those interested in carbon seats, we’re currently producing OEM-spec seats for both 355 and 550 with the same attention to detail (see 355/550 threads for that).

Maybe for some future projects, I have NOS CS seats in medium for 3D scan etc if we get that point.

Quick update on the CS mirror project

Currently, 6x sets of LHD Challenge Stradale mirrors are reserved.

If there’s continued interest, I will extend the batch to 20–30 sets.

These mirrors are 100% OEM-spec: same geometry, carbon weave direction, folding mechanism, motorized adjustment, OEM plug and weight.

Every detail has been reverse-engineered from original parts.
No payment is required until mirrors are fully completed and ready to ship.
I’m only collecting interest now to finalize production scale.

If you want a true 1:1 reproduction of the original CS mirrors, this is the set to get.

Price will be ~ EUR 6,500 including international shipping.

At the moment, we’re focusing on the first LHD batch of 20 sets. We might do one more small run, but that depends on demand and production bandwidth.

This is not a mass-produced product, each mirror is hand-laminated and assembled to factory spec, and we’ve invested a lot to keep everything 100% OEM-accurate.
