    The only difficulty I've ever had with it it is that it doesn't work (for me) in an antique version of Safari, but works fine in Firefox.

    If this helps, this is my somewhat modified right rear window regulator next to the Volvo mechanism that I ordered, and a pic from the modification thread. I still have both the left and right Volvo mechanisms.
