Stroll has the ability to be thoughtful and engaging when he wants to. What he hasn’t shown is the ability to get the most out of his car nor to fight through adversity. He really is just taking up space at this point. Kind of sad.
Just imagine what his childhood must have been like, what Lance WANTS (not wish, or ask for) Lance GOT. End result? Whatever. Does he have a girlfriend? Other pilots are shown with companions, him? Never seen one. Children, oftentimes, turn into what the parents make of them. He does not strike me as a 'low key', simple and easy type of guy. Regardless, I am not his fan, and if he were my son, I'd send him out to get a job on his own, and not based upon his minuscule racing career. Why doesn't Briatore, or anybody else, engage him? 1000 guesses....
Finished last and pointlessly forced another driver off track where it was completely unnecessary because the very nature of the corner they where about to enter you can enter it pretty shallow and still effectively block the driver behind. Real man of genius at work again.
his post race interviews are the best umm, yeah. umm, yeah.. frankly, i think F1 should randomly assign drivers to diff cars every weekend.
So now we're inventing a diagnosis to justify his poor behavior? He can't drive, can't handle being interviewed, and can't take any accountability. Sounds like he really shouldn't be anywhere near an F1 car. Alonso has beaten him in every race they've both finished this year, and the gap is getting increasingly larger. Good to see people still trying to justify the blatant nepotism that has him in that car.
Exactly. Plenty of people in the world who are dislikeable and not good at their job. They don't need the pass of a diagnosis from a random on a forum - they need to look inward and work on themselves.
Wasn't he dating a Canadian model? Maybe that was years ago, when he was less bad that he is now; at least when he was still trying to do anything behind the wheel.
Finally with my youngest prodding, wife and I are watching the series “Succession”. Lance seems like he would fit in with that TV family well at a guess….
