I only tested the 812, on both road and track. On the road, like with most modern really powerful cars, the difficulty is not to manage the accelerations, it's to find places where the speed is sustainable. On the track, the 812 shows how well it is designed; of course it needs some respect, but it's very confidence-inspiring.
The F8 is also too much power for the road. We don’t want to admit it but I’ve come to the realization that some cars are more fun when they’re slower or take longer to get to redline…. The F8 gets to 8k rpm in a second or two; it just never stops pulling. I mean it’s fun as hell but for such short bursts on the street…. It’s a ridiculous amount of power and torque but you can only use it for a few seconds at a time when you get a clear spot… it makes me smile of course each time I do it but, being honest, it’s way too much power…. I’m probably at a disadvantage though being in south Florida where there’s mostly traffic everywhere and barely any twisty roads…. Sigh. I imagine it’d be much more fun on some deserted, twisty, country roads in different parts of the country/world. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
imo there gonna be still going up more especially speciale ,the pista and f8 will increase where the 488 will hold
i think the prices went up way too fast buy them now if your looking for one ,im not sure what your talking about todd ,my friend is trying to buy a pista and hes having a hard time
I've noticed f8 asking prices going up. Don't know final sales or if F8 sales are picking up further or slowing down but they definitely are not being sold or advertised for less than they used to be.
I would have low balled the **** out of him anyway. Of course he never tried to sell anything, it was just a convenient excuse because he had already angered some people before. If one guy could influence the market I would have used him to sell my 458!
Yeah it's too bad you can't have some guy banter about car prices without getting banned!!! Ridiculous.... I learned he works in finance at a CDJR dealer.... no where near selling exotics..... again i never saw any reason to ban the dude. Some snow flake problems got his lace panties bunched up and ran to a admin because they couldn't win an argument. lol
In our small French market the F8 is holding strong; now prices are similar to 296 prices (although the 296 is newer and was - only marginally, due to emissions taxes on the F8 - more expensive new). For people not accepting the hybrid 296, the F8 is the newest they can get; I guess that supports the prices. However, in a couple years the F8 will not be perceived anymore as "almost new" so I suppose prices will drop and become closer to the 488 prices (the Pista remains a particular case due to relative exclusivity).
