I'm trying to get to my 02 sensors and my 430 has a Kreissieg exhaust, so I took off the shield to see if I could access them the easy way (no luck of course).

When I pulled the shield I noticed these plugged off lines (attached pics).

I recalled seeing a video that plugged off these lines to keep the valves open.

While one has a screw in to plug it, the other doesn't. Is that a big deal?

My exhaust has the 2 and 5 setting: quiet and very loud at revs. But I dont know too much about these exhausts (got the car in Feb). Doesn't the exhaust still need the valves to flip between 2/5 sounds?

If you have valves, plug those in. If not, cap off both.

The Kreissieg appears to come with its own vacuum solenoid, so the important plumbing will be attached to that. The pipes in your photos may not be used.

Just to be sure... is there any vacuum on the uncapped pipe with the engine idling?

Interesting as I just bought a scuderia and have a Kreisseg fitted. Mine is 1 and 5. I get catless fumes with both valves open and closed, and @Bulletproofauto has confirmed the design is a partial cat bypass.

What I am now curious about is how much is bypassed? 50/50?

insane. I’ll try to get a sound clip. Sounds very similar to a V12 Murcielago I had with Fabspeed exhaust.

    Confirmed! The exhaust sounds insane!

And props to @Bulletproofauto that took the time to email the company in Japan to look up my exhaust serial # and give me the exhaust settings
