Hi there. I have just bought my late 2004 575M, with standard suspension, no FHP.

Just wondering if there's any chance of finding parts to upgrade to HGTC (or FHP) suspension parts? Do they ever come up for sale?

Maranello Skunk Works rear sway bar made a substantial improvement on my ‘04 575M.
    An easy install.

I want to keep the original dampers, but if possible find stiffer springs and thicker sway bar, as the FHP had. If that can’t be done I’ll stick to original setup.

Call Daniel and ask (336)499-2500. He may need to order more from Maranello Skunkworks.

Thanks. What is the price for a set? Is Maranello Skunkworks an American company? I’m located in Europe.

The factory sway bar - forget about it, unless you can locate a wrecked example that had FHP or HGTC and the bar is undamaged. The MSW bar is awesome, though.

I was able to pretty easily source FHP front and HGTC rear springs with the help of Fchat and Ferrari Of Washington (northern Virginia, USA) respectively.

FHP front springs still pop up every so often. HGTC rear springs are nearly the same spec as FHP and were still available. Expect about $800 a spring. Note springs must be a matched pair (they have little colored paint marks which tell you if they are on the stiffer side (red) or softer side (white)

The other FHP part is the steering controller which Danial has the MSW version

MSW was a group of 550 enthusiasts that developed some aftermarket items to improve the usability/performance of the 550. Most are no longer active and most of the upgrades are no longer available. The few that are, are available from Ricambi, with the exception of the COP kit.

It is very difficult to hunt down good FHP or HGTC springs/shocks/computer. If you want to go aftermarket I have MSC coilovers available, shoot me a message if you are interested. Most people throw the stock components in a box.
