and it's got the highly desirable slush box! You would throw $100K at that thing and not see a material improvement. Pity there's one on Hemmings, same colour but with the 4.9 engine and it doesn't need restoring. Landed cost here $112K.

Yup, someone paid $103,000 + commission. I hope they know what they're in for. Hopefully will be back on the road, sometime...

    "Another Klein Special"

    :D

It's a 4.7, that's a sweet engine, quite a bit more torque than the 4.2. This car was ordered with A/C and power steering which is a nice addition. Oddly, it has the 4.2 dash. I am not a fan of the Borg-Warner automatic in that car. It's quite clunky, and the automatic has a shorter final drive over the 5 speed, not as relaxed on the highway. The 4.9 is great, Citroen brakes on the later cars (After production number 99). Underrated and mechanically strong, if you start with a strong one. And this one isn't. I hope someone takes it on and returns it to the road.

    Idiot.
I wouldn't go near it with your pole let alone my own.
The one at Marc's is sooo much more desirable.

Yes, did the bodywork and paint himself from memory. Lovely job, hope he kept the original driveline.

The car sits high at the front, would appear (and not surprising) that the 4 litre Aston 6 was heavier than the 5 litre Holden.
