Has anyone heard of anyone getting a discount on a 12C in the UK? I know the UK is a weird market with discounts on Puro etc Different market in the USA... UK has just had loads of tax rises and UHNW leaving, so I know there are discounts on lux watches, cars etc Asking as its something I'm interested in and want to go in with my eyes open.
The couple of dealers in the London area I have spoken to have said a flat out no. Even discounts ‘in kind’ are dismissed as being possible. Ferrari would take away their license etc. etc. One hears that 12C is not selling well but the dealers don’t seem to make much effort to get sales away so I am not so sure.
Ferrari can reduce the production number and in that way avoid cutting the price. Make 600 less units and ensure that the entire run is sold.out.
They certainly can but they don’t want to reduce production and take a sizable chunk off their revenue numbers. They are now simply a numbers company and buyers are no more than targets to be hit.
Ferrari could also allocate less cars to UK. They seem to always over-allocate to UK based on second-hand market prices compared to EU and USA market.
