What trickle charger to get

Hi y’all,

what brand trickle charger are you guys using that are on an anti gravity battery?

looking for something simple.

I usually like C-tek products. I use the MXS 5.0 on standard batteries, and love it.
For a Lithium battery, you will need a different model. Not sure which one, but I'm sure they will have it on their website. (or just search C-tek for lithium battery)

My F8 came with a Ctek MXS 5.0 which is fine and basic. I also use Noco 5 and 10 which are great. I bought a magnetic adapter for the Noco to use with the F8. Not sure about the 458, if you need an adapter. Personally I prefer the Noco to the Ctek.

 

For AntiGravity batteries, go with their Lithium-Compatible charger or a basic Battery Tender Junior (just make sure it has a lithium mode). Simple and reliable.

That charger looks cool, but will you be able to use a pigtail adapter on it like the C-tek so you can plug it in to the car like the factory tender?
If not, I would still get the C-tek. It's a nice convenience to plug it in to the OEM spot on the car. Especially if it's a 488 or newer with the magnetic exterior plug.
Plus, C-tek is a proven design. Who makes the Antigravity one? I would feel more comfortable with a company that specializes in chargers, and sells a ton of them, and they are the Ferrari OEM provider.

The video shows it including the pig tail adapter.

 

The pigtail adapter will leave a pigtail hanging in your foot well. If you want it to hook up like a factory tender, you will need the C-tek.

That's just an example, you may find it cheaper, but you can see what I'm trying to describe.

***Unless you can maybe find an adapter that has the same jack as the Antigravity connector. (if it uses the same jack as the Battery Tender brand (looks like it may be the same), you may be able to find one to fit.

 

There is a seller on F Chat in the market place from San Francisco area that sells adapters and you need to specify for the Anitgravity batter as I believe the polarity is reversed.
