The amount of money Ferrari waisted on Lewis contract, they could bought out Max’s contract. Ferrari would be fighting for a championship right now with having some wins. Max in my opinion the best I have seen.

 

We've seen multiple WDC drivers drive for Ferrari after Kimi won their last WDC title and unfortunately, it's not the drivers.

Get Max to driver for Ferrari and you're going to have the same issues as their past WDC title holders. It's always been the car and not the drivers.

You've got that backwards. He didn't really wring it, his steering was so steady along the entire lap - he really did finesse it around the track.

I have'nt seen anything according to my sources at the moment.

Max did fly into RedBull today to either do more sim work(Spa) or congratulate Mekies on his new role or both.

 

Erik Van Haren in the Dutch media, who is very tight with the Verstappen camp, stated an engineer informed him Max very much wants to work with Lewis' prior engineer, Peter Bonnington. The Mercedes board approved buying out Max regardless of it his exit clause is activated and the writing is pretty much on the wall. Also interesting to note is Mercedes are said to be ok with 'loaning' Kimi Antonelli. So Max and George appears to be a real possibility. Wouldn't surprise me if this were all announced at the next race in Belgium, perfect place to do so

Nothing confirmed as of yet. We should here something by August. Max and Toto are currently working out the details in the contract for the time being so both Max and Toto are talking.
