Oh, and the quote came from the GM at the dealer. And he wasn’t trying to sell a car, I already have the aperta allocation.
Does anyone have 296 Speciale Piloti visualisations in the three other colours than red? It is available also in Blue TDF, Argento N and Black but nowhere to find pictures / visualisations in those...
$470k base, $40k special paint, $100k other obligatory options. $600+ coupes and Apertas will easily get over $700. Before taxes, mind you.
Good money for Ferrari, no reason to limit their pricing as long as people are fighting for allocations.
I will still buy the VS coupe but to be honest the only thing that keeps me cosy at night is what happened to the value of our Pista Spider over the last 6 months... which may be traded in for the new Speciale. Also... I will pat myself on the back for calling $471k MSRP a few days back. :-D
assuming you guys are correct about pricing, if its $470k with tariff does that mean if the tariff is reduced that the price will fall? Nope, Ferrari will keep the difference. $470k isn't crazy IF the car comes well equipped. If its $470k plus $100k just to get it so its not overloaded with plastic is too much, IMO. That is almost double the current market values for 296GTBs....
Front splitter, rear diffuser, etc are all included. Some big carbon pieces. The only one I know off the top of my head is the challenge grill like piece at the back is 15k.
So like with the Pista the sills come standard in plastic? (Super yuck) With standard paint, CF sills that puts the car around $500k...add stripes etc and its around $550k. What do you guys think about that price?
As of 4/30: interior standard CF: steering wheel and paddles, dashboard upper pieces around the binnacle, central tunnel, internal sill plate rocker exterior standard: central and front lateral spoiler, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, engine bay side panels Interior options: under-windshield, lower dashboard, dashboard inserts, interior lower zone, key cover Exterior options: air vent on hood, filter box, rear bumper (challenge grill area), rear wings, entire front bumper, exterior sills, engine covers, front boot
XX is 1m - VS with two less cylinders is 40ish% less - It's not really about the price - imo, it's about the value or value down the road. Losing 250 on SF90 having to hold and 100k on 296 - 350k, holding 1.6m hybrid cars / deposits - but XX might make back most of it. Value of the VS - is it special, is it super limited is it a Spider nope, will it be replaced by something or is the mold broken. Mold is just getting started that's my problem but it is a cool limited Ferrari and fun fast attractive. You have to justify stroking a check, if 10% matters it's not a good idea to buy an exotic. I'm sour on a coupe offering - flip side it may be the better car. I will spent 450k on GT3RS all in so the VS isn't that bad or is it
I guess that's about 50k "worth" of carbon included. Which would translate to $420k MSRP and a great deal. LOL
I'll say this: when I drove the SF90 spider I spent close to $900k on home from the dealer, I had immediate concern for how much I'd like it. I always thought about driving it, but it was lacking with the monotone exhaust sound. Driving the 296GTB home yesterday was a completely different experience. Fun, sounds great, almost half the price. I wasn't offered an XX from Ferrari, and though disappointed at the time, if my experience in the 296 vs SF90 is any indication, I'm happy to get the 296 Speciale. Though I am getting the Aperta, the coupe is going to be the better performing car, but the aperta offers 99% of the coupe and the top can come down for that extra experience. I can't wait for the driving reviews to come out. The F80 reviews seems VERY positive, and I like that the 296 shares in the lineage with the top car at Ferrari.

I'm glad you got it - prefer SF90 over 296 insane cars but 296 while more fun driving, prefer SF90 presence brute force presence. Crocodile tears tired of waiting years for a car - regardless of everything add 18 month hold - nearly 5 year transaction. Maybe Ferrari gives Ivanka a Puro and tariffs end - we all know how it works
HAHA!!! That's worth a shot for them. Nice to get to have these opinions, huh, but I get where you are coming from.
With a lot of the external painted why do it ? Weight saving ? Gee that will make 0.00000001 difference for most drivers on our chat group on the chat but 50+ k in dollars
