Looks like we will have to wait till next week to get actual pricing and options figured out. The added 50k for tariffs definitely changes the math. They should throw in livery as standard.

Just heard back from my dealer. You guys were right. He was reading the Canadian memo not the US!

He said even the 40k deposit was for Canada, US 30. The doc confirms US cars have an additional "Tariff contribution" of 8.5%.

Shocking they got this wrong and were calling customers with Canadian info...

Figured it was Canadian, but good to get confirmation on the 8.5% tariff contribution.

That brings the base price to $510,345 and $583,214, respectively if my math is right.

So the “tariff contribution” is another $40k+, likely $47k or more.

The eligibility requirements are real. He's stayed consistent about those. He also things by the time the cars arrive the tariffs will be different/gone.

Unlikely, these are FNA requirements. Dealers have their own requirements.

Well put it this way , it is less restricted than Pista and I would think those that miss out will be in the used market looking within two years .
I think it will become less restricted given it will be a 600k plus car optioned and that is getting to rarified space to find buyers, this may lead to loosening the rules

There won’t be that many made. Just not possible. As it says in the letter, it’s a minimum requirement.

True. A friend of mine asked for an allocation this past week (VS coupe) and found that the slots have all been taken.

Correct, what I've heard from my dealer and a friend's is that the number of slots for the A and coupe are both fixed. Seems like most dealers are getting 6-7 A's and about 20 coupes. The feedback is that Ferrari NA chose the A recipients. The requirements are minimum for factory approval, but it's dealer discretion how they dole out the allocations and also the sequential order.

Everyone who wants one absolutely can't get one, from my experience all these slots were taken 2-3 months ago. At this point only people backing out will free up allocations.

Dealer selected "A" allocations from approved list.
One dealer offered an A but required 296 coupe - hard pass.
Ferrari isn't leaving any meat on the bone- add tariff I believe it will be (already agreed) 10% and Ferrari picks up 1.5%. = 8.5%

    538k + options + local taxes + 8.5% tarrif sounds expensive tbh

I meet the requirements for a coupe. Two cars in the garage, both purchased from my dealer in the last three years. One new, one used. I have a great relationship with the dealer, and have repeatedly expressed interest.

So far, I have not been offered an allocation. They have not ruled it out, but they clearly don't want me to get my hopes up.

I'd guess that I'll only get a spot if others higher on the list decline theirs. I don't have a problem with this. They have customers with longer histories and bigger collections. It's only fair that they get first crack.

Perhaps, in the end, everyone who wants an allocation will get one. But for now, allocations are scarce.

It depends on how many people will eventually want the car - if there are many more people wanting the car than production number, it means Ferrari has set a price that is too low.
Raising the price reduces the number of people wanting the car (because price is one of the parameters considered in the buying decision).
Ferrari's goal should be to set the price so that there are just a few more people wanting the car than the number of cars available.
Of course, as part of marketing it's good for Ferrari if the perceived demand is high.

Fishy they make the req so low - possibly more coming due to electric being cancelled.
The letter was published I have it somewhere no tariffs on 296 SF90 family - purchased 296Spider to gain VS, relying on that letter and instead of canceling 296 spider bought one off the showroom floor. XX more serious than VS - time will tell as Ferrari and customs are shaken by tariffs - won't end well especially on leases. 30k depositors will walk if things aren't holding - unlike 150k on XX. lots of variables. Ferrari should eat 75% min of tariffs - bears eat meat vs pigs eat sh-t scenario. Between dealer and Ferrari - reciprocate show some love to your customers.

remember, the tariff was 2.5%.. This is a 6.5% increase. Also, the tariff could go away by the time the Speciales hit US shores....so who knows.
