Hi, does anyone know the SPAL parts number for the Testarossa (I have an 87 model) AC condenser fan?
I searched the forum but couldn't find anything. The closest I got to it was this post https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145467924/ where the poster mentioned that the condenser / evoporator fan has the same diameter as the water cooler fan but maybe a different profile.

In a previous thread I have already identified and posted the SPAL parts number for the oil cooler and water cooler fans: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/parts-number-for-spal-oil-cooler-fans.693132/

I hope somebody can help me with the SPAL part number for the condenser fan.
    Best, alex_kay

The fan motor is pn 117546, which appears to be a Spal VA03-A13-12/A

Thank you very much. Unfortunately I cannot find any Spal fan with that number.

In this post one can see a Spal parts number which is slightly different: VA03-A23/A-12A 12V
I cannot find that one either on the Spal website or anywhere else on the internet. Probably an old parts number.

Does anyone know what the current spal parts number is?

Those part numbers are just for the motors. Don't know about Spal but F has diff. part numbers for the motor, fan, conveyor.

Saw that other thread. This guy has this motor listed as 117546, apparently the same motor as on the 512BBi/328/Mondial where it's used in the cooling system.

Thank you for the two links. In the photo at least the https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/part/ferrari/176447 looks different from the water cooler fan VA03-AP70/LL-37A.

So, unfortunately we still haven't solved the mystery of the current SPAL parts number for the AC condenser fan. Does anyone have know the SPAL parts number?

OK, I did a lot of research, contacted Spal suppliers and Spal directly. One supplier in Germany (albach.eu) was kind enough to also contact Spal and forward me their feedback:

Spal recommends using the VA03-AP70/LL-37A as a successor for the no longer produced VA03-A23/A-12A 12V.
This means the VA03-AP70/LL-37A can be used for the AC condenser fan. I will try on my car and see if everything works.

In further research I also found out:
    1. The old VA03-A23/A-12A 12V which was originally installed as AC condenser fan was specially made by Spal for Ferrari. It is no longer in production or use.
    2. The fuse in the fuse box for the AC condenser fan is the same (20A) as for the water cooler fans. And I have been using the VA03-AP70/LL-37A for the water cooler fans.

I have to thank albach.eu, Bernhard Schlüter from rennsportshop.com and buhr-gmbh.de for helping me in the research.
