2020 Portland Spotter's Thread

Driving in the rain, a Black V-12 Ferrari east bound on McGillivray, turned south on SE Village Loop, Monday the 2nd, 12:45 pm

 

Vancouver - a Grigio Cali with the top down turning south off McGillvray. Spotted while east bound on my bicycle - he gave me plenty of room . I'm taking the F430 out tomorrow.

Yesterday, the sun was out and the roads were dry in Vancouver. Spotted a Rosso Corsa 458 east bound then south bound near Chkalov. I am an old man, a lifelong Tifoso and Ferrari owner for 13+ years (355/F430) but I still get excited when I see a Ferrari in the wild.

 

I have seen a white 488 convertible a few times around east Mill Plain in the past couple of weeks.

 

That was me! Just picked it up from the detailer! I'm the same way. I always freak out when I see a Ferrari and drive real fast to get up along side it.

On my way to Safeway in NE Vancouver - 2 Ferraris sighted. Grigio (?) California, top down headed west on NE 18th St and Rosso Corsa 458 southbound on 162nd Ave NE. My F430 will be out tomorrow - PDX Cars & Coffee.

 

Great week for the top down, was off to pick up 3 grandkids at school, all 6 of them love the Ferrari, just not at the same time

Topless Rosso Corso 328 GTS in PDX Friday afternoon. NB on SW 1st near the 405.

 

That might have been my 308. I was coming back from Ron Tonkin.

Nope, definitely a 328 as I drive a 308 as well.
But will keep my eyes peeled for you in the future if that’s an area you frequent.

I’m out in Hillsboro. I don’t normally go that way but I’ve lived here just over a year and took a wrong turn!

 

Hahahahahaha...you have no idea how well I relate to that statement. I think the Inner West Side has some of the most confusing navigation among all of PDX's neighborhoods.

there’s a red California in Vancouver.

 

saw a orange 720s at the 179th interchange on I5 (WA). weaving in and out of traffic...

 

saw a blue 360 parked in franklin neighborhood of vancouver. looked like the dash was ripped out...

 

green urus eastbound on hwy 14 about 1:30 today

 

Vancouver Water Front, yesterday evening, drove by a grey California in my grey California. First grey one I've seen, was odd to see my car coming towards me.

 

Coming up through Oregon at the tail end of a nice long road trip to California. Driving on I-5 near Creswell. I saw a distinctive front end of a car on the southbound side. And sure enough, there, parked off the shoulder by a bridge, was a Boxer. Didn't see a driver or anyone else near the car. Hope everything got resolved. Rather unusual spotting in my experience.

 

What color was it?

 

Red w/ Black Boxer trim lower half.

 

Okay, not sure. There is a blue one in that area, but obviously this wasn't that one.

Ron Tonkin loved Boxers and as a result, there have been a surprising number in the Portland area. I had one for about 10 years myself.
