Don't roast me too much, but has anyone ever installed a sliding ragtop? I'm toying with the idea on my Mondial as the existing sunroof is fast approaching unusable.

The local Webasto dealer did a great job on my Subaru STI. It is a factory-style electric sliding sunroof. My memory may be failing me,but I think I read that Webasto helped design the retractable roof of my Portofino.

It's certainly technically feasible. There was a picture of a 308GT4 with a full-length sunroof on it posted recently. But if you do this, you're significantly limiting the number of people who want to be the next owner.

I’m considering getting a sunroof installed on my 330 GTC.

Yeah, I agree. Mods don't alway or rarely add value.

Was this original? If so, I'd get it refurbished.

It's your car, but I wouldn't do it to a Ferrari. Maybe an old Citroen or Austin Mini.

My Aston Martin DB6 had a Webasto sliding sunroof. It worked great and sealed well. You should consider what will happen to interior roof height since sunroofs usually take some space below the steel roofline.

The webasto canvas style doesn't take too much room. Sometimes it seems to add it because you don't have the insulation and the rag slides basically on top of the roof.

Every single sunroof will leak. Its a giant hole in your roof.
