Exactly and that is not changing "but" there is a published letter from Ferrari the 296 SF90 family will not receive a tariff. At the end of the day - Pista Speciale Scuderia were all unlimited. The 16M is the only limited one of the group and only recently has risen. This is all too much brain damage - they will be what they will be.
I believe the Speciale is getting the 8.5% surcharge. Someone posted a memo from Ferrari stating as much. The exception apparently only applies to the remaining GTB and GTS deliveries.
wow thank you so much, if we break it down seems like the car comes standard with an easy 60k+ of stuff standard compared to what it would cost as options on a 296. Im having a hard time believing it though, this is ALL standard? Seems like the car comes heavily equipped. Minor options like front lift, side rockers in c/f and interior/exterior colors/materials is all thats needed. -Carbon fiber racing seats $10,124 -Racing seat lifter $2,531 -Titanium Bolts $1,687 -Carbon sill plates $2,025 -Center tunnel in Carbon $4,050 -Upper dash in c/f $7,593 -Carbon steering wheel $5,062 -Central and front c/f spoiler $7,593 -Rear diffusor in c/f $11,812 -Rear spoiler in c/f $5,000 minimum -Engine covers in c/f $7,931 -Front parking sensors $2,700 FROM LIST PROVIDED; Equipment - • SMRT - Smartphone interface aka Apple CarPlay / Android Auto (Auto-selected with PPAC) • WIRE - Wireless charger (Auto-selected with PPAC) • ACC1 - Front radar with ACC (Auto-selected with PPAC) • ASF1/AFSU - Adaptive front headlights (Auto-selected with PPAC) • PAR2 - Front parking sensors Carbon • FCWS - Central and front lateral spoiler inserts in glossy carbon fiber • CEXD - Rear diffuser in glossy carbon fiber • CESP - Rear spoiler in glossy carbon fiber • CEL2 - Engine bay side panels in glossy carbon fiber Other standard and included options/features (not de-selectable without special request): • INTC - Alcantara on seats, dashboard, and rear bench area and Tecnosky headliner • CRPT - Carpets and lower dash in Kyrton technical fabric • LEDS - Glossy carbon fiber steering wheel, paddles, and LEDs • CIIP - Upper dashboard/instrument cluster in matte carbon fiber • CITZ - Central front tunnel in matte carbon fiber with raised center/front section in glossy carbon fiber- • CISK - Internal sill kick in glossy carbon fiber • TIWN - Titanium wheel bolts • FCAM - Advanced front cameras hardware and software • PAC1 - Rear parking camera • RSCH - Carbon fiber Racing Seats • RSES - Electric lifter for racing seats • EXAT - Titanium exhaust pipes
Glad to hear that this can be removed. You say this can only be removed by special request. I wonder if they'll do it for a US customer?
I bet these cars do fine value wise. The higher price will make them more exclusive charging sales tax on the tariff is truly wrong. that is being taxed on a tax.
I also stopped by and saw a 12C sticker and the tariff charge was mid 40ks. Speciale will have a tariff added as of right now.
I think you might be right. It will be interesting to see. It's technically not charged on the tariff, it's on the "tariff surcharge". This is a payment to Ferrari, not to the government. Ferrari could have built it into the MSRP instead of adding a surcharge (I'm glad they didn't). You can see why the tax man wouldn't want to distinguish between the two. You'd see manufacturers arbitraging that loophole. That said, I totally agree with you in spirit.
3/4 layer paint is now $46k, up from $37k on 12Ci, plus $7800 for the painted black roof. A relatively restrained Aperta spec with 3/4L paint and just a few of the many carbon options will be in the very high 600s, or low 600s for a coupe (not including the tariff charge). Once you start going into liveries, tick a few more carbon options boxes, etc, it won't be hard at all to get into the 7s.
Totally right. Some pricing adjustments but it's pretty much in the right neighborhood. Value proposition adds up to around $69,779 for options listed below: Racing & Track $10,124 -- RSCH - Carbon Fibre Racing Seats $2,607 -- RSES - Racing Seat Lifter ------------ $12,731 Exterior & Colors $7,931 -- CEL2 - ENGINE COVERS IN GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE $12,166 -- CEXD - REAR DIFFUSER IN GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE $1,738 -- EXAT - TITANIUM EXHAUST PIPES $7,821 -- FCWS - CENTRAL AND SIDE FRONT SPOILERS IN GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE $1,738 -- TIWN - TITANIUM WHEEL BOLTS ------------ $31,394 Interior & Materials $7,821 -- CIIP - DASHBOARD UPPER SURFACES IN MATT CARBON FIBRE $2,086 -- CISK - SILL KICK IN GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE $4,171 -- CITZ - FRONT TUNNEL IN GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE $5,214 -- LEDS - GLOSSY CARBON FIBRE STEERING WHEEL + PADDLES AND LEDS ------------ $19,292 Equipment and Travelling $4,843 -- ACC1 - FRONT RADAR WITH ACC [ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL] $1,519 -- PAR2 - FRONT PARKING SENSORS [REAR IS STANDARD] ------------ $6,362 Base Price of a 296 GTB - $338,255 + $69,779 (Speciale FOC Options) + $41,956 (Assetto Fiorano Kit) = $449,990 AF kit changes the Door Panels in Carbon ($6,918 - CIPZ), Rear Console & Central Tunnel in Carbon ($4,171 + unoptionable value of rear console in 296 GTB/GTS), Upper Trim in Carbon ($TBD value for Speciale Option - Speciale comes standard with Alcantara here). With the values we know for overlaps in AF and Speciale options, GTB comparative AF spec is $438,091. Base Price on 296 Speciale - $470,000 so you're paying an extra $31,909 for the Speciale features.
Folks quick question - If my Ferrari App says 296 Speciale "Waiting List" - does that mean I get a car
I should think so. Is this how you learned that you have an allocation!?! Also, if that's right...congrats!!!
Does it look like this, if so you have allocation, you are not waiting for a spot to open up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks guys - Yep this is how I learnt. Dont want to "count my chickens yet" but this is what is in my app Image Unavailable, Please Login Will check with the dealer before I get too excited
Agree. Maybe Giallo Modena instead of Giallo Triplo Strato! Agree! That is a big increase in paint cost.
I hate seeing concept art, because the production car will never look as good and you end up reminiscing on what could've been. https://autodesignmagazine.com/en/2025/07/ferrari-296-speciale-leleganza-diventa-estrema/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
