Similar combo here. 89 AWII M3. Looks like you’re running coilovers? Just did Ground Controls and have it sitting perfectly…..but thinking of selling it
Yep...KW v3. just sold mine reluctantly. Staying in the family though, going to a couple fchat members (one being an actual family member).
Such a sweet car two car combo! I loved my e30. Beat the snot out of it and still below speed limits lol.
Down 10mm in front and 15mm in the back. Still waiting for the suspension to settle and see if the car can make it onto my lift this weekend. I like the leveled look of the car. Seems more flowing. It always seems strangely raked with the back too high compared to the front on US spec cars, which I'm sure doesn't help with scraping on a long nose vehicle like the 430. I also just swapped out my Kline Stainless Steel to Kline Inconel exhaust, and yes, they do sound different. I'll take more pics on the weekend when I have time. I also had the car tuned and need to experience it on the highway and in the twisties, not just a short trip from the mechanic back home (17 miles on local boring roads) and to the gym (>5 miles on equally boring roads) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Kinda cheating. Used chatgpt to turn an actual picture of my car into a roller shot. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Also randomly found an album online from a cars and coffee earlier this year, with a few photos of our F430 in there.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
57 years young and my first Ferrari. There's been times when it was an absolute priority, times when it looked impossible and even a time when my local dealer lent me a car for a day. I got to a point recently and I just thought don't keep waiting, make it a reality. Beautiful low mileage, unmolested 2001 model with some nice options. It's now time to learn and bond with my new love. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was quite the process but it turned out and doesn’t rub.We must’ve measured the ride height from the frame hundreds of times. It was maddening but I’m happy with it now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just completed annual service and deep clean number six. Looks pretty good for an almost 17 year old car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
View from the kitchen window. I have to keep checking to make sure it’s really sitting in my driveway. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Corey! For the undertrays I use Simple Green to clean and Tri-Nova UV Protectant to treat. The Tri-Nova protectant really works well on the undertrays. For all the metal areas I’ve started using Griot’s foaming all purpose citrus cleaner and a boar’s hair brush for cleaning and then Griot’s Garage Engine Bay Dressing. Makes things shiny and like new.
Do you just spray with Simple Green, agitate, and then use water in either a hose or spray bottle to wash off?
For the undertrays I take them out in the driveway, hose them down, spray with Simple Green, scrub with a wash mitt and then rinse with plenty of water and blow dry. They come out really clean but the treatment with the Tri-Nova really brings them back to like new.
