Looks like a pretty epic silver. I have used Aluminio Lucido 3 times as livery. I hope it is at least that good.

When the Challenge Stradale came out in 2004 the most desired paint color was Rosso Scuderia. Also the factory installed stripe was the cherry on top. Top money for this combination followed by Nero with a factory stripe. So yes Rosso Scuderia still works!

Andy Cohen had a NART Blue Challenge Stradale with a crema interior on hand back then that was rather nifty to.

That’s a nice blue. I might go blue on my next one after I recover my losses from liberation day.

Very bright - assuming white mica flake.
    Alum Lucido winner.
Dirty 16M but amazing the detail in 2009 vs today.

Thanks that's the info I was looking for. Steep. That color along with livery would probably be the most expensive options I'd choose...

I chose Blu Corsa for my GTB because it was a launch color and “cheaper.” Lol. I’ve had 5 3/4 layer paints, so nice to save some money there. Also, I am LOVING the Blu Corsa.

How do you feel in general about the choice of launch color on a Ferrari? Too many of them around bc everyone does the same? Good choice for resale? Good choice bc Ferrari designers are good at their jobs and the color suits the lines and spirit of the car?

I think in this case, you get a new color limited to the car it debuts on (at least at first). It looks killer and is a much more enticing spec than the launch colors of the aperta. As far as resale, people gravitate to the launch spec, so safe move there. If it’s the color you want/like, or makes the most sense financially while still providing an intriguing color (as it did for me with Blu Corsa), it’s a no brainer! Also…they aren’t making THAT many of these cars. Unless you live in a high volume Ferrari area, they’ll
be rare no matter the color.

Interesting dilemma - RS might be too "light" for the 296VS - but with. the 360CS stripe it might work...

I have the Coupe in the app now. The 12c should also be in production now - exciting times!

My F8 was Sanu silver, in the sun its so bright you cannot even look at it without sunglasses (photos do not show how hot the hotspots are). But be aware, if you have not seen the color in person there is large visible mica flake, very 1970's, its not like a pearl color. But I loved it.

My 812 Comp is Aluminum Opaco, I am a big fan of this color with painted strips, they really show well on the warm silver color. Also a good color on special edition cars with a lot of openings and movement in the bodywork, and a bunch of carbon. Otherwise the color can be a bit dull.

I haven’t seen sanu yet. It’s specced on my 12 Cilindri with a tricolore stripe.

I thought this picture gave a good indication of the Sanusilver paint on a 12 Cilindri >

I like it. I didn’t do painted this time…though not as important as on the 812, I’m still considering my. I passed on an early allocation and still awaiting a build slot, so changes can be made.

I bought my first Ferrari in 2001 from Andy at that location, it was a 2000 360 Modena, the brick wall is iconic. You just brought back memories.

    Thank you,
Andy I believe found the missing Frankfurt prototype Daytona Spyder 12851. After it was in an accident and was converted to pop up headlights the plexi nose was gone. It's original history was hidden as the Daytona was painted black. Some detective work unearthed it's history as a prototype and he had the Spyder restored to it's original plexi nose and Fly Yellow paint color. This was more than a decade before the Challenge Stradale feeding frenzy. Low mileage Stradale models were commanding 200k back then. Andy certainly had his ear to the ground for the car market.

My "quick and dirty" attempt and putting a BLU NART stripe on the 296VS - seems possible and could work ..

Do we know what are the standard colors and how much the stripes will cost?
