Thanks or posting those. I was browsing the Monterey week auction catalogues earlier today. it seems there’s a huge disparity in the estimates for those Ghiblis spiders. The blu sera example the most realistically priced IMHO.
admittedly the Gold one is freshly repainted with an engine rebuild but I’ll eat my hat is it gets anywhere near even the low estimate in the current financial climate.
I will be watching with interest.

the current financial climate in the USA is fine, what’s not fine unfortunately is the appreciation and acceptance of Maseratis on the same desirability level as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston etc.

An almost identical to AM115/S 1079 original Ghibli Spider in yellow near me is almost done with it's restoration and I think will be sold next year.

Just saw one again in person today. I cannot get over how gorgeous they are, makes me weak in the knees. That and the Vignale spyder. Painfully pretty. Must be seen and experienced in person to really get it

I just sold two Khamsins in three weeks, both from France, one to Houston and the other to South Africa. Can't reveal prices but they were fair, market correct for Europe. Next one will be my 30th K sale:).

It pays a lot better than my books and articles!

I hope not enough to have you stop writing as I would be unhappy not to see you in print.

Thank you very much Elliot, much appreciated. I don't think there is a chance of that because of needed revenue and passion.
Sometimes I am fed up with writing but it's like the tide....
