Cigarette lighter for Testarossa; universal part?

    Hi, my cigarette lighter unfortunately is unusable to charge my phone. The plug-in charger sometimes charges and then again not until I place it differently again. Probably loose contact. I have already tried cleaning it but it only improved it slightly.

    Does anyone know if a universal part fits?
    The original parts number is 61503900 which was superseded by 70000627 which in turn was superseded by 257-80-670-00.
    https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/part/ferrari/257-80-670-00?id=62696 has it in stock. But it looks like a generic one to me.
    Maybe somebody knows something. Otherwise I will go ahead and order the one from ferrariparts.co.uk.

    If you have a more recent plug-in charger, they don't generally work in older lighters - don't reach far enough.
    Try an adapter like this first:

    That is a great idea. Thank you very much. I have just ordered the one you recommended off amazon and will try it.

    They look to me as if they reach down far enough. But maybe also the contacts on the side are not big enough.

    I don't think the 1st two would work. Honestly I didn't try the TR but I know my other classics from the 70's and 80's don't work with those.
    The 3rd one might work.

    About 10 years ago it wasn't difficult to get one with the large contacts like the adapter I posted above.
