I am looking for a used 296 GTB. After watching the review from Harry’s Garage on YouTube () where he states that he had to switch off ADAS before every drive, I am a bit unsure. Car is Eu version (Switzerland) delivered in March 2024 and has no ADAS. But has - ACPL Apple Carplay - AFS1 Adaptive Frontlight System - BRAD Back Radar - FCAM Advanced Front Driving Camera - HWCO MyFerrari Connect Readiness HW - PAC1 Parking camera - PAR2 Front and rear Parking Sensors - WIRE Wireless Smartphone Charger - And lots of other options According to Harry Metcalfe one must disengage the nannies (speed warnings, lane assist etc.) every time before driving off. Here are my questions: 1. Does anyone know if this is true for a 3/2024 EU model without ADAS but with all the options above? 2. If so, is there a fast way to switch them off or do I have to go through the menus every time before starting the car? 3. Car has Apple Cary play but I have an Android phone. Is there a way to add Android Auto to the car? Maybe I just buy an iPhone for navigation. Thanks in advance Markus
I believe cars that left the factory after the Aug 2024 shutdown have those, along with a slightly changed wheel w indentations for the haptic button. March 2024 do not have it. It takes 2 clicks and 2 seconds to turn off mine, but must be done on every start up. my sept 2024 car unfortunately have it
Mine is a RHD produced after Aug with the now compulsory ADAS base . No issues and set up in the menu , Harry just needs to read
