Hi all, I made a video capturing the sound of the cold start, revs, drive by, and some of the gear changes. Because I was holding my phone to take video while driving I had to be careful, but usually I shift much more aggressively than this, hehe…..

I agree it sounds good .
Be careful showing your speed , many over this side of the pond have been charged with speeding from YouTube videos
Oh and if you left your phone at the side of the road it would have definitely been stolen

Asking are you trying to convince us or yourself ?

The F8 has its own sound. If you go down that rabbit hole to suggest that it is better than xxxx you will lose.

All Ferraris have sound , some more than others and some less.

You like , please enjoy it.

Unfortunately the F8 suffers from the particle filter.

Ferrari couldn't give a rats arse anymore. Like it or don't they will sell their cars.

If you really want to hear an engine listen to the GM T-50 . It will blow any Ferrari out of the park.

You are in America the M8 doesn't have the GPF.

I honestly believe this is really irritating you.

Sell the F8 and get a PISTA. Problem fixed.

At least the F8 would have held its value.

Well the M8 no need to tell you their resale values are very poor.

IMO the M8 sound is what ? just extra fuel burbles like a ricers Merc.

^ I think you’re reading too much into it. I’m just having fun. I love my F8, I like to compare and contrast, its all a part of the hobby. And nothing is more fun than having the opportunity to do revs and hard pulls :)

trust me it will take you nowhere. Based on the heavy research I’ve done you can barely tell the difference, unless you add cats as well, so to me it’s worthless.

But would love to hear other opinions

worthless.... some tried that pipe and did not notice any difference really in sound quality or volume of sound. These pipes are expensive for what they are and due to the F8 having back pressure sensors you will eventually get a dash light due to this. Same thing with unplugging the vacuum lines that close and open the exhaust to the muffler or bypass the muffler you will eventually get a check engine light on a F8.

Would like to hear details of your exhaust system. Novitec race exhaust or other? Novitec Tectronic or Novitec N-Tronic? Tune?

    Thanks in advance

No tune. I don’t find it necessary on a 700+ hp car.

Here’s the details. Pricy… but it worked really well for me so in 2.5 yrs and 18k miles ownership, I never regretted it.

As the wise forum members say "You've gotta pay to play". 18k miles and zero regret make that seem like a low cost. Hell yeah
