    A friend shared this impressive dyno sheet and short video done last week.He had did the porting, spec'd the cams and made the inlet manifolds, his customer did the rest. Has anyone seen more from a 2V 308?

    120 HP/L is pretty impressive for a 2 valve engine.

    Nice! And the tq peak is 6800 it looks like so the hp probably actually peaks at like in the 8200-9000 range but the run stops at 7800 so it probably has another 30hp in it?

    There is a whole lot going on there to ask about. A ton of work on the exhaust and the header primaries are quite large....and run through where the alternator once lived it looks like so race engine?. And I just can't figure out what I'm looking at on the intakes...its looks like fuel injectors maybe but I don't see fuel connected? And I would love to see what its doing at lower rpm but if its a race build they likely don't care about that.

    Yes, I believe it's a competition engine, first iteration, but don't know much more. The machine shop specialise in blocks and heads from solid billet. I saw the injection manifold a few weeks before and it was a beautiful job with alloy aerodynamic butterflies mounted on single shafts, close machined to the manifold so they didn't have stops. I don't know whether it's intended to be revved higher in future development.
    They're planning to do a 4 valve version next.
    I've seen some nice 4 valve V6 Dino heads for the same customer.
    All these Ferrari heads are cast not billet (so far).

    Mighty impressive. 2v engines with lots of compression, huge intake manifold, lots of port work with huge compression will make big power. The most I’ve seen is 350hp but that was a street motor with stock 40DCNF carbs and relatively mild sport cams and compression for street manners

    Now I have seen a 3L 4v race engine make over 400hp at somewhere around 11,000rpm. Different animal with those heads

    Yes I've seen that and more:D

    That's a very nice and comprehensive build also an easy 6 figure one!

    4V NA will make more, huge jump in performance with the later heads and lots more room for getting more power.

    That exhaust is pure art! Love it!

    Often missed but the correct exhaust is a massive PITA due to package constraints and just kills power unless you do it right. Esp when it comes to bank to bank balance.

    Nice to see I'm not alone in toiling away on these old beauties. :p
