I just bought a Ferrari California and I’m starting to think ahead about servicing. I know the dealership is the default, but I’ve heard mixed things about costs and wait times. Does anyone here know a really good Ferrari mechanic in Sydney, preferably someone who actually understands these cars?

If you do a search, this has come up a few times previously with suggestions. Where in Sydney are you located?

I’m in the Lower North Shore, around Artarmon. Happy to travel a bit if it means finding someone who really knows their way around cars

I have no experience with them personally but I have heard from someone that the service at Ferrari North Shore for the older models is actually pretty good. Otherwise try Cavallino Motorsport at Brookvale, A lot of people up your way recommend them.

I’ve seen European Galleria come up in a few Sydney car groups, haven’t used them personally, but they seem to handle Ferrari and other high-end work. Might be worth giving them a call or even dropping by. Also wouldn’t hurt to ask around locally there are a few solid specialists tucked away in Artarmon and the North Shore

Thank you for the post, can’t help as I’m also new to Ferrari and am picking up my 488 Spider in Sydney this weekend. I live in southern suburbs and am unsure of any local mechanics.Does anyone have any feedback on this mechanic that is closer than north shore https://www.scuderiacavallino.com.au
    Or in the east?

I would just use FMS at Alexandria, particularly for a modern Ferrari like a 488.
I tried independents in the early days, but for me the dealer works best.

I'm in Bellevue Hill. I have a 612 Scaglietti 2007 and I take it to Luigi Pacelli at European Galleria after looking around at a number of shops. He worked at the first Maserati/Ferrari concession on William Street and knows these cars inside out. He has a huge following, extremely reasonable prices and is the "go to" for ferrari, Lamborghini, maserati and aston martin servicing around Sydney - based on Artarmon. He also services my Maserati Shamal 95 and Maserati Ghibli 1997. The workshop has a great coffee bar too, and he is a super nice guy who takes photos of all the work he does so you can see exactly what the issue is and how he fixed it. Definitely the best ferrari mechanic in Sydney
