Great result for all the podium. Pato never did well but with Zak Brown here turned it around for a big win. Veekay and Simpson on the podium who would have guessed that!
IndyCar coverage delayed to show the women’s soccer awards ceremony? comments are as brutal as they should be Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
Soccer never ends…….torture for the masses. Now a swarm of make-good commercials on the local Fox affiliate.
Fox buys 1/3rd of Penske Entertainment not sure how I feel about this…. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
My hope is that this will somehow help with the conflict of interest of Penske owning the series and one of the top teams.
maybe, and hopefully it means Fox is “all in” on IndyCar but…most of the nonsense that made me stop watching NASCAR (playoffs, stages, etc) was heavily influenced by the networks. hopefully they don’t ruin IndyCar in a similar fashion also, what happens if this investment doesn’t work out?
Marshall Pruett seems to think it will be a good thing. https://racer.com/2025/07/31/pruett-this-is-exactly-what-indycar-needed
Portland this week Palou will most likely clinch the championship this weekend Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
6 grid position penalty for Ferucci due to an engine change.... required because the block was cracked?
The little fairground roundy round again gave a good race. I was following it on Indycar radio, one thing I don't miss from my beloved US is the ads where they screaaaamm into your skull: mute button much used. Congratulations to Palou and Power.
Fox should be ashamed of the terrible coverage of todays race LIV Golf ran ~30 minutes over so the race was joined in progress (no set up of the grid, Palou gap to win the Championship etc) Then they cover Palou's (well deserved) championship, go to commercial, and return in the middle of some pre-recorded show ("the American Athlete") ZERO coverage of Will Power's (and Penske's) first win of the season, no podium etc
