Why would KC let an OL go that has an almost 98% 'win rate'?
I know Joe Thuney is expensive, but you go nowhere without a great OL,
every team that has won a SB has had a great OL...
Maybe his injury history is catching up with him? Or his age??

But 'they' also say this is a great draft for OL's...

I'm happy Maxx Crosby got paid... 103 mill for three years....

I have never seen free agency go this crazy - ever.

And this is one reason why it is so hard to repeat not only as SB champs, but even just Division champions.

I said after the SB I don't expect KC to even make the playoffs this coming season,
and now everyone is improving - especially in the AFC West. Except for KC.
We will see if they do much in the next 2 months, but KC just has far too many holes to fill.
No OT, no legit RB, no legit WR, an aging TE, thin on defense....

If they don't do a 'sophomore slump', like Houston did last season.

I will still not be surprised if KC misses the playoffs, everyone else in the AFC West improved, KC, not so much.

NFL Draft - I love how the announcer guy, when the team is sending a guy out to
announce who their pick is - the announcer guy ALWAYS addresses the guy as '... and NFL Legend...' when
the guy is clearly NOT a 'legend'.

I think Jim was a decent owner, sure, he had his issues - most of America has
had issues, but I always enjoyed listening to him when he was being interviewed.

    RIP Jim.

Sophomore slump - like Houston from 2023 to 2024?

I think the surprise team may be Carolina, and I'd like to say Denver and the Chargers,
but those two won't be a surprise, based on the coaching. I would not be surprised in the
least if KC has a losing record in 2025 - teams go in cycles.
I think Vegas will surprise a few people, so may Arizona - until Kyler gets another 'head case'.
Toss New England in there, too.

    Who will be the worst?
Cleveland, New Orleans, NY Giants, Tennessee?

And some I think people are expecting far too much from:
Miami (just, simply, overrated), Minnesota (lost a crapload on Defense), Kansas City (old, and no O/L),
Dallas - George Pickens is NOT your savior when you have no running game.

If anyone noticed, Isiah Pacheco and Nick Chubb came back and were a shadow
of what they were prior to injury - and Cleveland saw that.

    Rodgers signs with Pittsburgh.
    Chubb signs with Houston.

I doubt either nudge the needle...

In my long life I have never net a person from Pittsburgh who I did not like. One of America's great cities. Why would the Stillers do this to their loyal, admiring fans.

Lindy's NFL preseason magazine is now out, and they pick the Cowboys to finish LAST in their division! What is the world coming to?

I think the Eagles will have to keep their eye on Washington more than on either N.Y. or Dallas.

By the way, Lindy's picks the Bills (!) to beat the Lions in the Super Bowl.

Yeah, I kinda doubt KC will be playing in Feb, again. They had a good run, but it's time for someone else to represent the AFC.

If I hear the name 'Micah Parsons' one more time I'm taking a shotgun to my radio, TV, computer.

That is ALL we have heard about every. single. day. for the last week, if not longer.

FIRST, he sucks against good teams - totally disappears - go research it.
SECOND, he's going to get paid, by someone.
    Because people are stupid.

Parsons is a native of Harrisburg PA, a suburb of Steelton. He played his HS football there before going to Penn State. He has always wanted to be an Eagle.

What's really funny is almost none of the current Cowboys' players were even born
when they last won a SB (1995). They have ten players on the current roster over the age of 30,
    and five that are 30.

Al Gore hadn't really invented the internet yet, the National debt was not even 5 Trillion,
John Daly won the British Open, and Atlanta won the World Series (their last).

Oh - and most important - 1995 was the release year for the Ferrari F50...

First Gruden turns out to be a total POS and now Harbaugh enters the fray with the college findings. Arguably less offensive than Gruden but no room for such actions.

imagine the nfl does nothing despite having a history of taking action ie Prior and Tressel.

side bar note on Rashee Rice farce.

I hope you don't think Michigan is the ONLY team that did that.
I hope you don't think Gruden is the ONLY guy that talked like that..

IMO Pryor got royally screwed - if you are talking about him getting suspended and Tressel as well
when Tressel bought him a decent Sport Coat to attend some events prior to the Rose Bowl, because
Pryor could not afford one.... or, tatoos? Seriously?

The NFL didn't investigate 'Spygate' very deeply because it was a well-known FACT that at the time
at LEAST eight other teams were doing the exact same thing, and the NFL didn't want that to come
    to light.

What's the Rashee Rice farce? Didn't he get a 6 game suspension?
The FARCE is the court system - allowing him to wait until AFTER the season to serve 30 days in jail.
(and I bet that 30 day sentence gets suspended, somehow, ankle monitor? LOL)

I stand corrected, 3 out of 4 is not bad...

I could never understand how Atlanta could only win ONE in the 90's
when they had Smoltz, Glavine and Maddux pitching...

Hard to read much in the preseason, but rams and niners don’t seem as strong as usual.
    Perhaps Bucs year.

    Vegas baby
I have watched both Raider games.

Ugh... this team sucks! Can they get their act together? I'm not confident. They looked better in pre-season last year and then fell apart in the regular season.
